A digital comic criticizing Jakarta-Bandung highway project which was built under the government of President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo seized the attention of Indonesian citizen.

The comic was originally shared by Japanese comic artist Onan Hiroshi via his Twitter account @ahoshiona, which was then retweet hundreds of times.

The comic contains criticism of the Jakarta-Bandung rapid train project built by the Indonesian government in cooperation with the Chinese government.

The satire comic mentioned that Japan had already cooperated with Indonesia to build the Jakarta-Bandung railway project and conduct a study related to its development. After the study was completed, Japan handed it to Indonesia.

However, by the Indonesian government, the results of the study were given to China, which offered the project cheaper than Japan.

However, two years after groundbreaking in 2016, the project is not completed.

The comic show President Jokowi "begging" to Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to assist in the continuity of the project.

However, Japan is reluctant to grant the request because the Indonesian government has already chosen China as a contractor of the Jakarta-Bandung rapid train project.

The comic became a hot topic among Indonesia nettizen. Some are criticized, but some support the critics.

Hiroshi's twitter account @hiroshionan and his Facebook are suspended after the comic became viral.
